Non-Refundable Agreement

"This Non-Refundable Deposit Agreement is made and entered into by and between [Rent a Party, LLC and [Name of Deposit Recipient] ("Deposit Recipient") for the purpose of securing the date and time of [Item/Service/Event being booked]. The Deposit Provider agrees to provide a non-refundable deposit in the amount of [Amount] to secure the reservation of [Item/Service/Event].

Throughout this Non-Refundable Deposit Agreement, [Name of Deposit Recipient] shall also be referred to as 'The Renter'."

Deposit Recipient acknowledges that the deposit is non-refundable and will be forfeited if any of the conditions outlined in this agreement occur. The conditions for forfeiture are as follows:

  1. DEPOSIT NEEDED IS TWENTY-FIVE PERCENT (25%) AND IS NOT REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

  2. If canceled within 20 days of the scheduled event, 50% of all items will be charged.

  3. If canceled within 10 days of the scheduled event, 75% of all items will be charged.

  4. If canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled event, there will still be a 100% charge.

  5. The scheduled event is not secured until deposit is paid in full.

Full payment is required for bookings made within one week of the event

If Rent a Party, LLC is prevented or delayed in delivering or picking up equipment at the agreed-upon time and location to or from an event due to the negligence of the Renter, the Renter shall be responsible for a fee of $75 per hour for any additional time required by Rent a Party, LLC to complete the delivery and/or pickup. 

By accepting Rent a Party, LLC's delivery service, the Renter agrees that all equipment will be ready for delivery and pickup at the agreed upon location as stated in this agreement. In the event that Rent a Party, LLC is unable to deliver and/or pickup the equipment(s), the Renter shall be charged a fee of $75 per hour for any additional time required by Rent a Party, LLC to complete the delivery and/or pickup.

The Renter agrees to pay the remaining balance of the total 48 hours scheduled pick-up/drop-off. Failure to make payment 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up/drop-off may result in the order being considered canceled.

Renter agrees that a  person 18 years or older must be present at time of delivery.

Rent a Party, LLC has the capability to postpone delivery or pick up of rental items in the event of certain circumstances, such as inclement weather. In the event of such a delay, the renter will be issued store credits for any postponed event. Please note that Rent a Party, LLC does not offer refunds.

Deposit Recipient agrees to the terms of this Agreement and acknowledges that they have read and understood the terms and conditions of the deposit. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements between the parties.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut. The failure of either party to enforce any of the terms of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of any such term or right.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Non-Refundable Deposit Agreement as of the date first above written."

By making the non-refundable payment, you agree to the terms and conditions stated in this agreement. No signature is required for this agreement to be legally binding.

Rental Agreement

The purpose of this section of the agreement is to establish the terms and agreement of Rent a Party, LLC for rental."

With the consensual agreement of the Owner leasing equipment(s) described in Section 1 the Renter agrees to the Terms and Conditions as follows:

  1.  In the event any equipment upon its return is not in good repair, condition and working order, ordinary wear and tear excepted, due to any damage or destruction to any  equipment for which the Renter is responsible, then renter will be obligated to pay Owner for the reasonable out-of pocket expenses Owner incurs in bringing such equipment up to such status, promptly after its receipt of an invoice for such expenses.

  2. If the Renter declines Rent a Party, LLC's delivery service, the Renter agrees to return all equipment to Rent a Party, LLC on or before the time specified in this agreement. Late fees of $75 per hour will be charged for any returns made after the specified time. The Renter agrees to handle all equipment properly throughout the entire duration of possession. The Renter acknowledges that all equipment is accurate to what was received and that the quantity of equipment is accurate as well. The Renter assumes all responsibility for the equipment.

  3. If Rent a Party, LLC is prevented or delayed in delivering or picking up equipment at the agreed-upon time and location to or from an event due to the negligence of the Renter, the Renter shall be responsible for a fee of $75 per hour for any additional time required by Rent a Party, LLC to complete the delivery and/or pickup. 

  4. The Renter has obtained authorization from the venue to use all equipment on their premises..

  5. Renter may only use and operate any equipment for its intended purpose.

  6. Renter shall install all equipment in a manner that allows for the removal without damage to the equipment.

  7. Renter shall not make any additions, attachments, alterations or improvements to any equipment without the prior written consent of Owner. Any addition, attachment, alteration, or improvement to any equipment shall belong to and become the property of Owner unless, at the request of Owner, it is removed prior to the return of all equipment. Renter shall be responsible for all costs relating to such removal and shall restore such item to its operating condition that existed at the time it became subject to this agreement.

  8.  Renter agrees that all equipment received is in safe and proper order.

  9. Renter may only use and operate all equipment for its intended purpose

  10. The Renter acknowledges that all equipment provided by Rent a Party, LLC is accurate and corresponds exactly to the equipment rental list located within this agreement.

  11. Renter acknowledges that the quantity of equipment is without a doubt accurate to what is stated in the equipment rental list located within this agreement.

  12. Regarding deliveries that do not include the setup and breakdown package, please note that all chairs must be stacked with the black circle facing up. If chairs are not stacked and facing up, a fee of $1 per rented chair may be charged to the renter.

  13. Please be advised that marquee items should not be exposed to moisture or rain, left outside overnight, or stood upon. Kindly ensure that all marquee items are handled with care and kept dry at all times.

  14. Please note that any items with an electrical or battery-operated system, such as speakers or microphones, should not be left outside overnight, exposed to moisture or rain. Please take care to keep these items dry and protected at all times.

  15. Please be aware that any water damage to our rental products will result in the renter being responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing the damaged item(s). We kindly ask that you take extra care to ensure that our rental products are not exposed to moisture or water, as damage caused by water can be costly to repair or replace.

  16. OVERNIGHT RENTALS: Lessee understands and acknowledges that all equipment is to be locked up in a secure location overnight. The Renter agrees to and understands that they are fully responsible for all equipment rented from Rent a Party, LLC until it is returned or picked up by Rent a Party, LLC
